Rock the Foundation is this Saturday!
Just wanted to give you all an update on where we stand and what the evening will look like.
So far we have sold hundreds of tickets and raised over EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS for the TAMUCT scholarship fund!!! Sponsorships and tickets sales have been outstanding and have made this event a huge success!!!
Please continue to spread the word about this awesome chance for your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors to help support the very worthy cause of sending local young professionals to college!
This Saturday is going to be a one of a kind event with great entertainment and some of the best food and drink available in our county.
Where: The Killeen Civic and Conference Center
Doors will open at 6:15 PM
Meredith and her team from Let Us Do The Cooking will have the following available for purchase:
- BBQ Brisket Wraps
- Smoked Sausage Wraps
- Grilled Chicken Sandwiches
- Potato Salad
- Cole Slaw
- Triple Chocolate Brownies
- Assorted Soft Drinks, Tea, and Water
There will be 4 open bars serving beer, wine and mixed drinks
We will have 2 VIP sections arrange with private bars for our sponsors
Attendants will be welcomed into the Convention Center by the GKYP’s own Michael “Carabu” Carubelli.
At 7:00 PM John Lohse will kick off the event with an announcement updating everyone on the funds raised and introducing the nights entertainment.
At 7:10 Steering South will throw down some awesome Classic Rock followed by a short break.
At 8:25 Wild Horses will serve up a mix of Texas Country and Southern Rock followed by a short break.
At 10:25 Sprung takes the stage to close the night with their wide ranging repertoire including Rock, Dance and 80′s hits.
We’ll wrap it all up at Midnight.
As you can see it’s going to be night packed with fun filled entertainments and a chance for all of our young professionals to enjoy the culmination of a huge effort to aide future young professionals in advancing their careers.
